About polymer insulators
In the last two decades, the world electric power industry has been showing a pronounced tendency for an evolutionary transition to polymer insulation, whose share is growing steadily every year. This is due to the improvement of the main operational characteristics of modern materials in comparison with traditional ones.
Since 2005, ZAO ROSIZOL has been specializing in the production of high-voltage insulators, as well as polymer covers used as casings for various instruments such as: voltage suppressors, switches, high-voltage bushings with various types of insulating media (oil, SF6 gas), cable glands for kitting of current and voltage transformers, high-voltage bushings and switches, and other high-voltage equipment.
The technology of covers production by injection molding of liquid two-component silicone rubber provides the best adhesion of the protective shell to the glass fiber tube, eliminating the possibility of breakdown in the external body.
Flanges fastening is performed by the technology of hot landing ensuring sealing tightness.
At present, ZAO ROSIZOL has a full park of press molds for manufacturing the polymer covers with outer diameters of 93,140, 214, 270, and 320 mm with voltage classes 35 to 500 kV. All products passes a full complex of tests in own new specially purchased high-voltage laboratory, as well as leak tests.
